A single-car enclosed carrier suits a valuable vehicle that needs to reach an address by an agreed date. It does not wait for a shared load or collect other customers' cars along the way. The price is higher than a shared space, so compare the benefit for your journey.

This guide covers when to choose a dedicated van, the calculation details and options for two or three cars.

What a single-car enclosed carrier is

It is a small truck with an enclosed body for one car. The vehicle stands on the body floor rather than on an upper deck.

Our vans include a six-metre body with 2.40 m headroom, a side roller shutter and rear hydraulic lift. The platform raises the car horizontally from ground level, including low sports cars where the arrangement is suitable. Another van has a fully opening side for driver access.

Soft wheel straps and wheel stops secure the car without attaching straps to the body or suspension. Our separate loading guide explains the arrangement in detail.

When a dedicated journey makes sense

A shared enclosed carrier takes several customers' cars at a lower price per space, with departure and intermediate stops depending on the load. A dedicated van is booked for your vehicle and agreed delivery plan.

  • A fixed date for a buyer handover, exhibition or seasonal move.
  • Low clearance that calls for a suitable hydraulic lift.
  • A dealer collection with limited additional handling.
  • A site where a full-size trailer cannot gain access, subject to checking the van's dimensions.
  • A collector's car where discreet handling and fewer loading operations matter.

Pricing a dedicated enclosed carrier

The base rate is RUB 100 per kilometre and additional services are calculated separately. Dedicated single-car transport is offered on routes from 500 km.

  • Express dispatch within 24–48 hours, once availability is confirmed.
  • Vehicle-specific loading needs, such as winching a non-running car.
  • Ferries, borders and international document procedures.

Details for a calculation

Send the details together. Accurate information reduces the risk of changing the arrangement after the carrier is dispatched.

  • Make, model and year.
  • Low clearance, body kits, splitters and front-axle lift systems.
  • Collection and delivery addresses, gates, narrow access and parking height limits.
  • Collection date and required arrival date.
  • Whether the car can move under its own power.

A dedicated carrier for two or three cars

For a family move or dealer booking, an entire enclosed two–three-car carrier can be reserved without other customers' vehicles. This can cost less per car than several separate vans.

Truck-and-trailer or tractor-trailer equipment may use two decks and hydraulic platforms. Check approach and turning space. If it cannot reach the home, agree a suitable nearby handover area.

Enclosed six–eight-car trailers are also available for larger groups, such as exhibition or fleet transport.

Express transport and address collection

Express bookings offer dispatch within 24–48 hours once confirmed, a personal planner and an agreed arrival date in the contract. A smaller van can reach locations unsuitable for a large trailer, after checking access.

The car is inspected and photographed at collection and delivery, with condition reports. GPS tracking is available and CMR carrier liability cover is up to €400,000, subject to the agreed terms.

Questions before booking

Confirm the actual service being offered rather than relying on its name.

  • Is the carrier dedicated to your car, and when will it leave?
  • Will loading use a lift or ramps, and what clearance is needed?
  • Are wheel straps and stops used?
  • What is the carrier liability limit?
  • Will you receive collection and delivery inspection records and photographs?
  • If timing matters, is the arrival date in the contract?
